Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), a professional cricket team based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise was founded in 2012 after the IPL terminated the Hyderabad-based Deccan Chargers. Kalanithi Maran of the SUN Group owns the team. The team’s home ground is the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad, with a capacity of 55,000. The team’s nickname is the SRH Orange Army or Eagles. With a century in his Under-19 debut for Punjab in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, Abhishek Sharma first gained attention.
